A properly installed computer network is the first step in maintaining a great infrastructure

Two of the most common types of computer networks are: "Wired" and "Wireless". 

Wired networks commonly consists of copper wiring (Category 5e or better), running from a central point to each computer system within the dwelling.  If the wire is poor quality, electrical signals form nearby equipment could force your network computers to keep sending the same information multiple times before it goes through, causing the network to "lag" or "lost network connection".  Making sure that the physical connections themselves have good contact without the interference of accidentally getting disconnected is equally essential.  Wiring a dwelling is a one time event, if wired properly; The Hook Up Center can make sure that the installation is done correctly the first time...the only time.
